Privacy Notice and GDPR Declaration of Conformity

PowerOffice protects your privacy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations as a data processor and data controller.  We collect personal data on the websites and for use in marketing, analysis and statistics, as well as for the improvement of our services.

By accessing, retrieving information from and/or using related services on our web site, you consent to our privacy notice.

PowerOffice complies with Norwegian privacy legislation, and both solutions and storage are performed in a way that meet strict security requirements. We comply with regulatory requirements for GDPR as provided in EU Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679.

What data do we register about you?

PowerOffice only collects information you provide us with and regarding your use of our services.

For example, when you create a user profile at PowerOffice Go, PowerOffice WIN, Go Mobile, sign up to receive newsletters from us or sign up for a course, you register your contact information, among other things. This can be, for example, your name, place of residence, telephone number, e-mail address or IP address. This data is stored in our database to provide or secure the delivery of the service you have ordered, as well as to improve our services and to prevent fraud. We also store information when you contact us, for example, when you send an email to the customer centre so we can answer your questions.

We record data provided by user devices and the devices’ connections to our services. Examples of such data are the type of device, operating system, browser information, IP address, cookies and pixel tags.

 What are cookies and pixel tags?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, mobile phone or tablet. The files contain data such as settings you make on the site, technical information about the device you sign in with, which pages on the site you visit and how you navigate between the different pages.

Pixel tags are small graphics with a unique identifier that have the same function as cookies. Pixel tags collect data in the same way as cookies.

How do we use your data?

We use data about you to deliver our services while making our services better and more adapted to your needs.

For example, we will use your contact information to send you newsletters, send you documents related to courses, contact you regarding a support enquiry, etc. depending on which services you have chosen that we are to deliver to you.

We use cookies, for example, for obtaining statistics, and for the temporary storage of information when using different services on our websites. The data collected will be used to analyse the use of the site to enhance the user experience for those visiting us online. The cookie is normally stored until the next time you visit the site, and will be replaced with a new one with information regarding your last visit.

We also use pixel tags to obtain data about how effective an advertising campaign is and to customize the content of our web pages based on the interests of our visitors.


PowerOffice shares personal data with others only in accordance with data processor agreement above, and as part of producing our own service. PowerOffice does not sell any personal data to anyone.

Please note that PowerOffice may be legally obliged to disclose personal data to a public authorities, etc. as the result of a court order, law or regulation.

How is data deleted?

PowerOffice stores data you have entered as long as it is necessary in relation to the purpose of the processing and our statutory duties.

For example, we will save user contact information in PowerOffice Go for as long as the Service Agreement is in force. Photos, travel details or vouchers uploaded and submitted to Go Mobile will be deleted after 3 months. We store contact information for sending out newsletters and/or course invitations until you unsubscribe from our newsletters and/or course invitations.

The information we have stored for you can be deleted by sending an enquiry to our customer centre.
